Our youth librarian requested this title on behalf of a patron who wanted to learn how to street dance. Other dance instructional VHS and DVD movies, such as ballroom dancing, have been popular for years. For anyone who has the agility and the interest, this looks like good exercise!

it is only a matter of time before the newest dance phenomenon krump hits the mainstream. it’s have received screen time in one of those ‘bring it on and the temple of ashkaban’ movies, and it is a plot element in ‘stomp the yard’.

it is required to see the form, raw and uncultured and beautiful, in documentaries like ‘breakin/krumpin'”. that way you can see it as real as the dvd viewing experience can make it AND see the beginnings of its commodification.

If you saw the movie Rize and liked all the Krump dancing, then you will like this dvd. The only thing that I was not happy about is the lighting was kind of dark in the picture, and that stops you from recognizing the dancers!

Real gem for HipHop or Krump fans

1st off the Krump is awesome and the guys are very entertaining, I love the Krump Kings. 2nd I enjoyed watching the relationships between the lil’ and big homies and it really gave me a deeper understanding of what it meant to aspire to be a Krump King in the early years of Krump.

The movement grew as did the Krump Kings. Watching the entire process of the movement growing has been a pleasure. I hope to see the Krump Kings regroup one day and return. The Doctor really did a great job with all that.
