History

Let’s go further back for the new fans…
It started about 20 years ago when a spark was born
with a group of young dancers who had the courage to be
original and inspire a global movement.

Get Krump

Mamatoon and the Cartoonz had legendary sessions. One of them can be seen in the movie ‘Get Krump’.

During that time, Cartoonz were top fam in the game and David Lachapelle was filming the movie Rize in Compton.

Krump 101

The first Krump instructional in history was hosted by Tight Eyez and Lil C’.

It was never officially distributed but a few lucky fans were able to get a copy before it was discontinued.

Cage

Cage 1 featured Flii Stylz, Bboy Crumbs and the Krump Kings.

Cage 2 had too many people for the venue. We had to move venues in mid event. Surprisingly, even more people showed up to the second venue.

Cage 3 gave birth to legends.

Cage 4 is being planned. We are exploring the idea of a ‘Floating Cage’ on the Red Sea in 2023. Cast your vote here.

Each Cage event was so explosive it marked the end of a chapter and the start a new one.

Golden Series of Krump

The Golden series was an introduction to Krump, the dancers, lifestyle, sessions and vocabulary.
It gave fans a way to participate and connect.

This first series included:
Krump 1.0 (beginners), Krump 2.0 (advanced), Krump 3.0 (stamina),
Heart of Krump, Krump Battles, Styles of Krump,
Lil’ Homies of Krump & Spiritual Warfares.

It was time to get recognized by the Legends of Hip Hop. And what better way to get attention than a battle between the top Bboys vs Krumpers, hosted by Shabba Doo and Todd Bridges?

The movie got everyone talking.
Some loved it, some hated it, but either way
Krump got recognition as a new
child of Hip Hop.

New Era of Krump

“The New Era” series gave fans intimate access to the Kings and their life behind the scenes.

This series included: Underground Sessions, Animosity, The Lab, Battle for Existence, New Styles of Krump, World Domination, Blood Brothers and Unmovable.
